Maya, a Siberian Husky from Thailand, is not like other dogs: the special girl was born without paws.

As a puppy, Maya was a sight to behold. Along with her lack of paws, she was also born with hip problems, which meant she couldn’t stand even for a few moments.

Back then, it looked like Maya was destined for a hard knock life. But thankfully, a miracle came… in the form of a person named Kit.

“At that time I was looking for a puppy when I found a Facebook post from a shelter that there is a puppy up for adoption,” Kit said.

“It was mentioned that she had congenital abnormalities, no paws on all four legs,” she added.

Despite the fact that caring for the three-year-old pup was extremely challenging, Kit said she wouldn’t change that experience for anything in the world.

According to Kit, Maya is “frisky and strong” and that playing with a ball, spending time with her puppy friend Mamon, and sleeping are some of her favorite pastimes.

As a result of her human’s unconditional love and support, Maya is growing up to be a normal, healthy puppy, who runs around like she has no care in the world.
