George and Ora Lee Rodriguez passed away just a month after they celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. And, similar to the romantic film “The Notebook”, the husband and wife died 3 hours apart.
Their last few moments together were spent side by side, holding each other’s hand.
The loving couple met each other in a San Antonio meat market, where George worked as a butcher.
He served in the Marines, went back home to marry his sweetheart, and raised three beautiful children with her.
