One devastated mother wants people to share the video of her daughter being violently assaulted in order to shame the bullies and make them pay for their actions.
Carly McCarthy, a 36-year-old from Middleton, Manchester, said her daughter Abbie had to move to a different school in April of this year because of the extent of her classmates’ bullying.

Abbie would tell her mom that students were pushing her and putting glue in her hair. She was constantly upset.
But last week, the bullies cornered Abbie in a field close near her home. Close to 15 students were there, waiting.
The mom-of-four said her 15-year-old went home on Wednesday evening saying she had been beaten up.
“One of the girls pushed her to the floor and dragged Abbie by her hair,” Carly said. “She was kneed in the face and punched.”

But things turned even worse when Carly saw a Snapchat video of her daughter’s attack making its rounds on the social media app.
In the clip, Abbie is seen being dragged by her hair around a field. Another girl around her age repeatedly punches Abbie in the head, and even knees her in the face.
Bystanders can be heard in the background taunting her, saying: “She’s nearly crying.”
Carly, who works as a full-time caregiver for her autistic son, was absolutely horrified. She said, “Abbie had a massive lump on her head. I took her to our GP on Friday who said she had whiplash.”
She reported the incident to Greater Manchester Police.

Despite the brutal nature of the video, Carly wants everyone to see it, saying:
“Bullies should not be able to get away with this. They should be shamed and maybe they’ll think twice next time.”
