In a galaxy far, far away, our new favorite heroine has been born, and she’s inspiring little girls the world over.
Rey is the badass, no-nonsense lead of the latest Star Wars installment — she’s brave, intelligent, and extremely handy with a sword.
It’s no wonder fans of the franchise have fallen in love with this fierce character.
More importantly, Rey has become THE female role model for millions of little girls everywhere.
And during this weekend’s Comic-Con held in San Diego, dozens of mini-Reys flocked to the event.
The fierce warriors impressed everyone with their swordfighting skills.
Unsurprisingly, Rey was a favorite cosplay, and the smock-clad cuties came to the event in droves.
How lovely is it that these kids have such an important character to identify with?
Does it help that the actress playing her can speak multiple languages? (HINT: YES!!!)
We don’t mind seeing more mini-Reys strutting their stuff. Keep ’em coming!
And if, like us, you too are fans of the “Reylo” storyline, please join us in praying for this to come true.
Ultimately, both the light side and the real world are lucky to have this badass Jakku warrior fighting for us.
#TEAMREY.
BONUS! Prepare to internally combust at this video of two BB-8’s.
